Did the wet rag trick till I was going through dads stuff the other day. Found some stuff called "Davies" Clear to land stuff. It is for aircraft winshields, safe on plexiglass and lexan. Goes on as afoam clings to the surface and will melt the dried up little critters. Wipes off streak free and polishes windshild aswell.
