I thought it might be interesting to see if there are favorites. I purchased a pair of HD Turbulence off E-Bay size 12. They are great boots but too big. So I found a pair of HD Laramie off Amazon and they are inbound. I post when I have worn them.

HD storm...gore tex...made by Wolverine rate them 10//// that is out of 10. I have a new pair in the box because they discontinued them and when i found a pair i bought them.
I have about 6 pairs. They are now made by Wolverine, but used to be made by Double H. I have no complaints other than what the dealer asks for them...I buy them elsewhere. I used to get them from a flea market guy that got them direct. They usually set me back about 60 bucks.

I wear Leo boots, Bates. Had the same pair for 3 years now. I have 2 pairs of Harley boots, they just sit in the closet. If you want good boots try a pair of Bates, they fit like a glove and they are very light to boot.

I've got a pile of LEO boots courtesy of my employer, Rocky and Danner brands. Danner makes a good boot, but too pricey for my personal wallet.
I'm willing to bet that I have over 5,000 miles on my Bates Boots in the pass 3 years I've owned them. I work as a security guard at a luxury apartment complex and have to make rounds every half hour, thats 16 rounds a night. I took my Garmin 305 to work with me one night last year and carried it on every round and it came out to 6.58 miles a night. I've been there for 3 years now so go figure. My Bates have never been re-soled, they are starting to get thin though.
