Ive been wearing the HD Brake Light Boot. Its great. Sturdy and comfortable. The zippers make em easy on and easy off, however, they are snug when they are on.

What about toe room in the boots you are talking about. I have a hook toe next to the big toe on both feet. Well they are going to amputate one of them but I need some toe room. Some of Harley's boots look like they have more toe room than others. Any of you out there that can help me? Fossil
This thread reminds me of some oil threads...someone will ask users of Mobil 1 for their opinions, and someone's gotta come in and say how much he likes spAmsoil...
H-D Faded Glory here, no steel toe because it hurts my feet and keeps your feet cold in colder weather...about $100 give or take a little and I get years of wear from a pair...

I have three pair. My favorite is the "Slash" boots. They are fairly low cut, (2-3 inches above the ankle) and very light weight, about the weight of tennis shoes. I quit wearing steel toes the day I got out of the Navy.

Actually had a set of Harley boots...not sure of the make, but they had the Willie Skull on the sides. Held up pretty well...zipper on the side finally broke after 40k miles. Soles were wore down quite a bit.
I've got a pair of the HD "Vintage" model. They look good, easy to put on and take off, but don't plan on doing a lot of walking around in them. They are heavy, and hurt my feet pretty badly. Looking for something lighter and more comfortable that will still last. The plainer the design, the better. Would rather buy American also. Any recommendations?

I wear my Faded Glory just about everyday, and they're just about as comfortable as any other pair of boots or shoes I own...give 'em a try, I think you'll be surprised at the comfort and the durability...

HD Huston Harness boots and another pair (can't remember the name), holding up well after a few years. Still have a pair of 'Cobb & Co' Johnny Reb boots (Australian) from 1986 that I have worn for 100k+ miles easy, a lot of rallying and riding in those boots, I love 'em, and still wear them regularly.....it will be a sad day when they die.
