Went with Metzler years ago on the advice of my indy......i figure he knows what he's talking about and doesn't buy in large quanities. Therefore no extra in it from the company he buys from.....he also needs return business and selling bad tires to customers would be counter-productive.
If your not sure, buy a set of one this time and other next time.......then you can compare for yourself......

............everyone has their own preference because of riding style, average temperatures and road configurations in their area......

Definitely the Metzler ME800's. Several other threads have given good info on online tire stores.

I put ME880's on my bike and they are a significant improvement over the stock Dunlops. I can't comment on the Bridgestone's but you can't go wrong with the Metzelers.

Order em at motorcyclesuperstore.com and they'll ship em right to a shop to have em mounted. Good prices and good service in my experience.

I am due for a new ME880 on the rear after 7500m. I ride 2 up a lot and do use the throttle like candy. Love mine.

Buy local and keep the dinero in your community. prices don't vary that much. I've rolled Metzlers for years on all sorts of hogs...

IMHO...ME880s are worth every cent. Been running them for a while now with no complaints. Always did believe in wearing good shoes whether it be for myself, my kids or my hog.
