I keep saying the HD Carbon Fiber helmet is going to be my next 1/2 helmet.

Headtrip very light, minimum shroomage

HD heavier, more shroomage

HD has more padding and better finished liner

Headtrip has just enough to be DOT compliant but is still comfortable, thus, less weight and shroom effect.

I have a ACC carbon fiber headtrip helmet and its like wearing a ball cap (well almost )

In a serious accident, neither one will save your life. It's just more about keeping the cops off your back. Glad I live in Fl. and have the choice to wear it or not.

+1 for ACC, all the rest make you look like a mushroom. Note, I guess they added "Head Trip" to their name now so they are one in the same. I've had the DOT half for about 18 months now and it's good quality and light.

I just bought a Harley 3/4 Stock Helmet. Found out it's made by KBC.
Look on the Harley Helmet site read the description on the helmet you want. At then end of the description it will have a name of makes it.
Same helmet - Less price.
Having said that, I just love the Bar and shield logo

Here I was always worried about shrinkage and now I have to worry about shroomage...
