I wear a full face for noise, wife, wind and daughter, LOL. I carry a small padlock and lock it to the right side mirror. My previous bike had a side mount tail light, I drilled a hole in the backing plate for a lock. I put the lock thru the rings in the strap and around the mirror. Hope this helps.

Agreed. I leave mine on my bike.

You can buy a helmet lock to install on a Harley, either a bar-end one or back on the strut/fender rail.

Or, yeah, a cable lock would be the answer.

Luckily for me, I live in Montana. I never lock my cars, bikes, house......

Being a good Harley owner, I opted for the MOCO helmet lock which goes on either your engine guard or saddlebag rails. or possibly a downtube I guess. It was about $15 bucks as works surprisingly well. If the tourpack is full, that's where they go. Quick and easy to use, probably easy to defeat as well but most folks won't go through the effort.

I use a long shank rubber coated padlock and lock it to the sissy bar.

that's a nice thought if you're there to see it. I don't trust anyone.

I wear a full face for noise reasons, wife, wind and daughter,LOL. I hang mine on the right side mirror, if worried about it I padlock it thru the d rings and around the mirror. Previous bike had a side mount tail light, I drilled a hole thru the bracket and padlocked it thru the hole. Hope this helps.
