I've purchase a HD '08 RockerC in the USA and am Importing it into Canada. As required by Customs I need a Clear Recall Letter from Deeley Harley Davidson Canada. Tonight I faxed my Bill of Sale and Clear Title Documents to Deeley Canada. On the Recall Application it says processing may take up to 15 days and no recall requests can be expedited. Has anyone been involved in this process and what are your experiences with regards to length of time waiting on this Recall Letter?? My Shipper will not pick up the bike until all paperwork is in place.
Thanks for taking the time to read my post and taking the time to respond.

I am also about to import a used Harley from Arlington TX, tell me what you had or have to do and go through, so far the deal is they ship it to a wharehouse in Seattle and I pick it up from there, but I would rather have it shipped to Vancouver.
Don't ship it to Seattle, ship it to Pantec Mini Storage, 943 Boblett St. Blaine WA 98230. 360-332-6111. Vehicle, Trailers, Surplus Inventory, Sporting Goods, Self Storage Association Member, Samples, Recreational Vehicles etc.
This place is 2 minutes from the border.
Also, the recall letter can come from a HD dealer so ask the seller to get one from the service dep't of his local dealership for you. If there is a charge it will be small but you should get it same day.
