i was at put in-bay last week end and was given this flyer,.
PIB chamber of commerce has info on accomodations, and ferry service. miller boat line will take bikes, while the jet express is passengers only.
this is the first year for the event , and was brought about because of the demise of roeder hd and their involvement in the ohio bike week. i have attached a scan of the flyer
ferry prices currently are $15.00 each way for cars or bikes, 6.50 each way for passengers. this is for miller boat line on catawba. i don't know rates for passengers on the jet express
could not get the scan to load sorry

"The best part is that you don't even have to bring your bike with you to Put-in-Bay."
Kinda defeats the purpose of a MC rally, doesn't it?
I was an Ohio resident for my whole life until four years ago. I've partied on the island more times than I can count. I took the bike over once, never again. If you want to party, this will probably be fun, the island is PACKED every weekend with boaters, let's throw in a few thousand bikers during prime time walleye season? I'll pass. The eye candy is always great there, the cops have no tolerance, the alcohol flows freely, but I just can't see this being a "bike rally" destination. It's a tough choice for bike parking, either a few miles away from you as you go over the water, leaving it vulnerable or take it with you and try to deal with all the drunk boaters and their friends who will say, "We're sorry, we just wanted to get a picture of the girls on it, we didn't mean to make it fall over into those other motorcycles. Yeah, just my .
