Default Makes me Mad as Hell

A couple in N.D were riding enjoying the sights when they hit a mattress that flew off a truck. Both are in critical condition wish them the best. Driver got ticket for operation with a shifting load, I would like to shift his load!

Hopefully they'll make a quick and full recovery.

Sounds like they were too close to the truck as well. Doesn't excuse what happened but I don't rely on someone else for my own safety.

Had a friend that died as a result of a camper shell blowing off a pickup truck that couldn't be avoided. Sometimes even being a safe distance back doesn't guarantee your safety. My thoughts and prayers go out to this couple.

I herd of a guy getting killed by a life vest that flew out of the back of a boat being towed down the road. I try to stay clear of any one pulling a trailor or a truck bed full of stuff you never know. Hope they make a full recovery.

Hope they fully recover soon. Had a tire bounce out of a truck and take a friend out before.

That really pisses me off, not only the fact that it would have taken all of two minutes to put a strap on it but for the cops to only give him a small ticket will do nothing to discourage others from doing the same thing.

Went for a short ride today. Riding on a four lane in medium to heavy traffic. Was following a car at a safe distance, 45 to 50 mph. When up pops a solid 6x10x4" concrete block. I hit it dead center. Jumped it with the front and back wheel.I left the seat went into the air a good 8 inches. Held on to the handlebars. Thought I blew out both tires. I thought I had bought the farm. There were cars all around me.
I stoped the bike, checked the tires then checked my shorts. Both were good. Kind of makes you shaky. I turned around went home and had a big tequila. It has taken most of the day,but I am ready to go for another ride. Makes you think about all the dangers out there. You must be ready for anything, and everything.

I hardley ever take interstate but a few months ago had to I was keeping a safe distance from the truck in front of me when all of a sudden a 40ft extension ladder flew off the rack and blocked both lanes in front of me ran off the shoulder and into the grass to get stopped. Went up to the moron and screemed a few choice words at him and had to leave before there was a killen,on the way back to the bike got tag and called Troopers. I know you have to protect yourself and maybe that couple was rideing too close but to get such a simple ticket makes me mad how are Morons going to learn from that. IMO.
