Installed my Harley Goodies floorboard kit...Before and After PICS!
I just put this genius piece of engineering on my bike and am amazed at how such a simple bracket can increase the comfort level of the bike. It took about 20 minutes to install. I hate directions but they are very thorough and even include a quick version for those of us who insist on doing things the hard way.
Once the brackets were mounted with the floorboards in place, I sat on the bike. Wow. What a difference in the amount of space to move your feet around, and also there is a nice space between the pipes and my foot now so no more worries about boot soles burning to the pipes.
I have the Kuryakyn Mark III highway pegs mounted to my floorboards and was having an issue with the rear brake pedal getting in the way of the right peg. No more. This has resolved that issue in one swift move.
I am yet to take the bike for a spin as I am working as I type, but will be giving a fully detailed write up after a nice freeway cruise, and a spin through the canyons. It is my understanding that my lean angle has been very slightly reduced by adding these brackets, but I do not foresee an issue with it. I have left my aggressive riding days behind me with my rice rockets, and prefer more to take my time and cruise. I only wish these had arrived prior to my trip to Laughlin so I could have provided a 1000 mile synopsis.
I almost forgot to mention fit and finish. The set I got was used and still looked brand new. Highly polished aluminum combined with bolts and black nuts to match the bikes floorboard brackets really provide for a slick look. This was the best $50 I could spend, that is for sure.
The only "problem" I have now is that I want chrome brackets for my floorboards too. If that is my biggest problem today, life is gravy.
Updated review after riding to come tonight or tomorrow. Until then, check these bad boys out.
The after pics are not so good due to the sun, I am going to have to get some more later. Get yourself some, best cheap mod around. $49.95 shipped. Look up forum member HarleyGoodies ( he is a site sponsor) or go to his website at http://www.harleygoodies.com/
absolutely one of the best and cheapest mods I've done. Anubisss - now go take a look at the "bagger" floor pans - they move your floorboards forward about 2 inches. and will accommodate your floorboard inserts and the Mark IIIs.

I watched the slide show several times and came to the conclusion that since I ride with my heels on the boards and not flat footed I may have an issue with the brake pedal.
Sure would like to try'em out sometime tho.
Will be anxiously awaiting your review.
