i love the 3/4 helmets. I have the german war style helmets right now for me and my woman. But ive been wanting to go to the 3/4 helmet for that punk bobber look. Trying to keep a little bit of old school with a new school touch. check out Ruby helmets, if you can afford one, send me one too.

Arther Fulmer used to make one heck of a good helmet back in the late 70s
or earley 80s, but some where between then and now they went to hell in
hand bag full of sh_t ! I would not trade a bucket of cold pi_s for a truck load
of them. I want to live so I trust my life to an Arai clasic m 3/4 helmet. My wife
on the other hand thinks fulmer helmets can't be beat so to each his own.
Check out Justified Defiance and Biltwell. I have a Biltwell and really like it. Friends have ordered from JD and are happy with them.

I have a flat black 3/4 Daytona Cruiser helmet. It was the cheapest old school looking 3/4 helmet I could find. I had to massage the foam insides a little since my head is more oblong than round but it fits good now and has the needed DOT sticker that a Biltwell doesn't have.
+1 on the Daytona....
Light weight and old school look...Will not give you the mushroom look....
Yes, a ball peen hammer taken to the foam does a good job of making it fit right.....

I have this one, not exactly pure old school, but more of a modern spin on old school (if there can be such a thing). Real comfortable, and decent ventilation (you can take the face shield off real quickly and easily as well)...
LOL, yeah, I guess a bit on the sci fi geek side, but a real comfortable helmet and doesn't look as bad as you might think when on. Plus it's light saber proof!!
i have a older H-D branded helmet made by Bell. very comfortable and doesn't sit high on my head like the Fulmer i bought earlier. fits like the helmet fonda wore once in Easy Rider.
I think Cycle Gear has Bell helmets available and eBay is loaded with them.
