That's what I thought, too. Motorcycle speedometers/odometers are notorious for being a little off. Multiply that out over those kind of miles....

Still, even so, the dude has ridden a lot. Kudos to him!

That's just awesome... I think when he gets to the Showroom floor the MoCo should let him pick any bike he wants and take it home . Put his in the H-D museum...

What an accomplishment!

I don't know if the deal came together yet but he had mentioned that HD had offered him a new Ultra even up for the FXRT.
Somebody racking up that many miles would have made a few freinds along the way. He is a Harley Rider alright.

I put a little over 20,000 on my 08 in a year My 98 only had 95,000 when I sold it (worked more hrs. so only 10,000 a year.) However I retire the end of may and will put a whole lot more on, But 1 million ????? don't think I'll last that long. (But I'll Damn sure try)

Mine is off by 8% and I've noticed that all of my friends Harley's have the same 8% error. That's a pretty considerable error!

I checked mine with GPS, don't know how accurate that is, but the speed-o was dead on what the GPS showed. I was running 70 mph with cruise control on flat road. Of course, I'm pretty sure mine is electronic and his is gear driven. Still, that is pretty impressive. I doubt that I have put anywhere near that ALL the bikes I have had over the past 35 years.
