My dad has a 90 FXR with a 1340cc evo. It's not yet 100k yet but he's at around 90,000 and has had zero problems. The only issue he's had is oil seepage at the valve covers years ago, which has been taken care of. He runs Harley oil non-synthetic (I don't think he runs synthetic) and has California cams installed. It's an everyday driver and has never let him down and he bought it new in 1990. When ever I go home I ride it because it sounds damn good with those cams and python II exhaust and still pulls strong out on the road. Also my dad does ride like stole it everyday. He has too in the Hussle and Bussle of southern california traffic.

only 1200 miles so far, got it in october - too much snow and wet, so I've had to hold off riding some this winter. Gotta get the 1k done, then it's rock and roll time.

I'm at 22k on my street bob. I've had the stator fail, and voltage regular replaced (at the same time) a few thousand miles ago.
