For the fellows that have done or do paint; what type of stand or how do you secure the tins to be able to paint all sides/top/bottom?
For the inside of the fenders, do you paint just the base coat then shoot clear or do you wet sand the inside of the fenders before shooting clear and after?
Thanks. I'm in the process of doing my own paint, still in the base coat stage, and hanging the tins by a wire from a support but obviously that won't work well for finish sanding/buffing and wondering how you secure these things so when I get one 'side' of a fender done I don't ruin it laying it down on something to work the 'other' side.
i hung everything when i painted and cleared it. and once i was ready to sand and buff i mounted everything on the bike. only thing that sucked was tring to get all the compound out of ever little nuck and hole and anywhere it could get.
