Default Powder Coated Solid FATBOY Wheels?

Does anyone have these? I am looking for pics but have not been able to find any.

I am thinking of maybe getting solid black wheels.

Is this even possible?

Thanks in advance

It is possible, Just pull the bearings and drop them at the powedercoater. I have never seen solid black, but a few people have the centers done black with an aluminum edge.

I think another question would be...

Can I get my stock wheels powder coated for less money then buying new ones? Or is that a bad idea and I should just suck it up and save until I can afford new wheels?

a couple years ago, i had a black powdercoated fatboy wheel to match my rear train wheel. it is def possible and an easy thing to have done. it will be much less so don't waste your money. just pull the bearings and drop them off with a good coater.

here's a pic of my bike back in the day...

I like that wheel (Widow) but the catalog didn't show a $ amount. I may call them later and ask, just so I'll know.

But I'm probably going to wait until I need a new rear tire and then get a 200mm conversion kit and get these...

They're awefully expensive though. Just have to wait and see.

When I'm done I hope it looks similar to this...
