I am restoring a 1980 FXB Sturgis. Any pictures of the sides of the bike if any one has one will be greatly appreciated. I have it almost put back together, just some wiring, the oil tank, the ignition switch, coil, primary cover and solenoid. It has straight pipes and I bought the muffler on ebay, but I need the original pipes. Any help from any body would be appreciated.

There is one on display at the HD shop in Sturgis SD -- although it might be an 81. Not Rapid City -- the dealer in Sturgis that carries everything but the bikes. Anyway, maybe they could send you some pics.
FWIW, an 81 Sturgis was the first HD I ever rode -- as a proud Honda owner back in 81. What a bike!! Never forgot that feeling...

Tim do you have the parts manual not the service? There is a parts manual from harley part # 99455-83c , covers 71-84 fx models parts . You can get it at Repairmanual.com. This is a factory manual. Goooood luck on stock headers . Try Genuine cycle vintage parts if they don't have it ,might have to try to make those.
Tim I am planning a trip to the HD Museum next week, if you will PM me and tell me what you want to see I will try and get a good picture if they have one on display.
