I got to tell everyone that replyed, LMFAO. This forum is great. I can't wait for winter to set in for good so I can think up some other highly intelligent questions. Thanks for all the good replys also. For us northern folks think spring!!!!!!!

I think that's a good serious answer, at least you could swap w/ other stuff as you felt the need, if it is a serious question...

Another serious answer, although I can't seem to find a kit for it online, I had an idea. You know those name tags people at hotels wear, or some other jobs, like the fancier gold/brass ones? They're attached through the shirt or jacket pocket via magnets. You could sew a pliable magnetic piece to the patch, and put the other side of the magnet under the jacket, have to be strong enough to get through whatever material you're using though. If it worked, there'd be no holes at all...
