Default flaming exhaust

Has any body used propane to throw flames out of the exhaust like the rods in the '50s?

Some dude on a bike show a couple of months back, he ran a spark plug to his exhaust pipe about a foot from the end. He was throwing some killer flames out of his bike. I think his name was John, can't remember his last name, but he was from Arizona and he won the whole competition, with a Seether(Rock Band) themed bike.

Messed around with that kind of thing back in the early 70s......built one that burnt gas, used an old fuel injector nozzle, spark plug etc........made great flames but I'm lucky I'm still alive...Now days, that kind of thing will get you a real hefty fine in most states and I like to think I'm a little smarter now.......google flame throwers if you really want to go that route.........

Good luck and remember......DROP AND ROLL!!!!!

A guy I ride with has a system that he built using nitrous parts. He takes gas from the tank and using injection (I don't know how he did this part) he mists fuel into the front end of his V&N longshots when they straighten out. The exhaust blows it through the pipes and he has tapped in spark plugs at the end of the pipes. About 8 feet of flames. Extremely hot (both ways.....). Draws big crowds every time. He doesn't light it up when he's riding on major roads or highways though. Very illegal and attention getting so he does it at shows, parking lots etc. No problems so far.

Go to HotLicksExhaust.com. The link won't 'cut n paste'. But they have everything you would want, including a flame thrower for scoots, that looks like a gatlin gun, and rotates. Have fun.

I wouldn't advise them if you have them pipes that point at the guy riding just to your right! Hehe!

KR.....if you had flame throwers with your pipes..... You could do smoky burnouts without spining the tire......
