No mess oil filter change

I use an old washer fluid bottle. It is thin and fits right under my filter. I notch it out on the end and slide my wrench through the hole on the other end. No fuss no mess.

I use nothing special. Drip pan under the bike and a couple blast of non chlorinated brake kleen after the oil change.

I like the tin foil and 2 liter bottle idea. I have a Harley plastic oil drain deal and have yet to not make a mess with it.

ya but where do you put the cap from the oil jug when filling?

Doesn't matter what I do, I always think it won't happen, but I end up with oil everywhere. I have a cleanable oil filter, seems to dump easier on removal than the throw away kind.
