Vendor For Sale Forum

Maybe I'm mistaken, but I thought vendors were supposed to be posting in their own forum. If so it sure seems they're starting to use up our other forums for their stuff. Am I wrong on this?

I have noticed a bunch of trolls, are vendors doing it too?

I called them vendors but maybe they are really trolls. Vendors are those approved here and trolls are just that, right?

The way I understand it is that vendors are approved by the forum administrator. I have been seeing a lot of posts, especially late at night (in the states) that are login names that are new. Their first few posts have been trying to sell stuff, everything from cell phones to viagra. It is kind of like the junk e mail that you get in your inbox, except they are doing it on the forums. I don't think there is an effective way to stop it, and I am starting to see more and more of it as the forum gets bigger.
