Default Back-A-Line and Rush Pipes for Sale

Back-A-Line lower back support belt. Size Large, blue color. Excellent for long distance riders or others who dislike the look of a backrest, but long for the extra support. Worn under a jacket, it's an invisible but extremely useful biker's buddy. See it here. Original price $50. My price $35 shipped.

Also for sale:

Rush slipons, model number 20803, straight cut, with 2" baffles. The chrome is in superb shape. There is some bluing on the neck of the mufflers, which cannot be seen when they are mounted. These are not the pipes with switchable tips.

Included in this sale is a pair of used 1.75" baffles, with new fiberglass wrapping provided to me by Rush, in case you'd like them a bit quieter.

These will fit the following bikes: '00-'06 FXST/I, FXSTB/I, FLSTC/I, FXSTS/I, FLST/I

$150 for the pipes and extra baffles, including ground shipping to the lower 48. Paypal only.

Actual pipes:

How loud are those Rush slip-ons compared to say...SE II's? I have the SE II's on my 02 Heritage but I"m looking to go quieter...something with a nice rumble but without that raspy "bark" that annoys me with my SE II's. I've heard good things about RUSH mufflers.

Hi Linda,

The Rush pipes with either the 1.75" baffles or the installed 2" baffles eliminate that metallic bark you're talking about, which I also find very harsh-sounding. I believe the Rush with either baffle are quieter than the SE II's. Both baffles have a very deep rumble to them. Personally, I prefer the 2" baffles because they are somewhat deeper in tone than the 1.75" baffles, while the 1.75" baffles are a little quieter.

You could try the pipes as is, with the 2" baffles, and if you thought them too loud you could always switch to the 1,75" baffles, which are included in the sale.

Thanks for the info. I would have to see about having a friendinstall them...or at the very least, help me with the job (cuz I know my dealer won't install anything that I haven't purchased through them)...as I know ZERO about working on exhaust. One more question...would I need to remap? I've heard that if you use the 2" or smaller baffles, then you don't need to remap...true or false? I have a SERT onmy bike if thatmatters...oh, and it's got the 95ci big bore kit on it, too.

No re-map required. Though if you have a SERT, a re-tune might not be a big deal.

A number of people have asked for details on the chaps, so here goes:

From where the chaps bump up against your jewels the inside seam is about 30". There are two very deep pockets, one on each side in front. Thigh measurement is about 24-25" around, and waist is adjustable from about 32" to 38", and more if the laces at the back of the waist are loosened. The leather is extremely heavy. These are not the chaps you find for sale at shows and events.

Hope this helps.
