Well if you have laced (spokes) could have loose spokes, had it happen with my fxdl, kinda scarry, but luckliy I found and fixed the problem without any hub damage, start there.
Um, keep your hands on the handlebars. Seriously, with no damping at all (i.e. not holding the handlebars) most bikes will exhibit some amount of natural oscillation at some speed. If you don't feel it with your hands on the handlebars, and you can stop it with only slight input such as light pressure with one hand, then it is nothing to worry about. If it requires a great deal of input to correct, then you've got something to look for.
This may sound odd, but I have seen this happen several times. Check your rear wheel spokes and pivot shaft. If these are loose they tend to transfer the shake thru the chassis to your front forks. Also check for front tire cupping, neck bearings loose/worn or improper adjustment. With all parts in good shape and properly set you should have no shaking at any speed any time
