I bought an 05 Dyna that came with only 1 key and nothing else. The seller said he had nothing else that goes with it; not even an owners manual.
So other than the obvious owners manual and 2 keys that I believe would have come with it,
what else came with a new one? Did any tools come with it; like a shock adjuster spanner?
What else?

Thanks

I didn't have any trouble with the primary or the transmission.

I am doing some work on the bike so I figured while I was doing this I would also preform an oil change. I do not have a manual for the bike as it was a repo purchase. So I want to make sure i put in the correct fluids and amount in the Engine and Primary/tranny.

First off, I am an Amsoil guy so with that out of the way and knowledge on changing the engine and primary/tranny oil on a Sportster. Here are my questions:
1. Does anyone know of a good online guide for doing this on a Dyna? (Engine & primary/tranny)
2. What wight oil do i use? Amsoil MCV 20W-50?
3. Is the primary/tranny still one peice?
4. Can I also use Amoil (Amsoil MCV 20W-50?)in the primary/tranny like I could on the Sportster?
5. How many qts for the engine?
6. How many qts for the primary/tranny?

I think that covers everything.

Thanks,
Joe

Ready to order the PC3 for my 07 wideglide, big radius 2 into 2 (standard baffles) with a Kury dual velocity high air intake filter. I already have a rear turn signal/running light module and the HD siren under the seat. Looking at their instructions shown on the web this device goes behind the fuse box, is this correct?? I'm not in a real good financial picture right now and can not afford to get this bike dynoed but I'm tired of listening to the decel gurgle and popping and I'm concerned about damage to the motor. Am I going to have to get this bike dynoed? I'm not looking for proformance but do want to make sure I don't f it up. Thanx for yous help

My next mod is new shocks. I had decided on Ohlins, but I recently was introduced to Works Trackers. They seem to me to be roughly equal in performance and cost. For those that may know, do you think that is the case?

If they are equal, I like the Works Trackers because they have more options for finish types.

Well, not bad, a three week build. I'll take a few more pictures soon so that I can share more. I believe it came out pretty nice but I think it's going back on the lift. I think I left a little bit to much chrome. I'm going to powder coat gloss black the fender struts, battery box trim, dash, belt guard and triple trees. I'm also going with a set of black shocks (these stock shocks are posted in the classified's if anyone is interested) There is a small list of just a few of the mods in my signiture. Whatda think guys?.......Rich
