This started out as a crazy hair brain idea to get some friends together and do a short Ride in the cold and it has grown into this amazing event that people look forward to participating in each year.

The first year we had 25 bikers last year 75, I can only imagine what this year will bring.

What is an Underwear ride, you ask?

It’s a way for us, as riders, to give back to the community. We can do this by donating new, unopened packages of undergarments to the less fortunate. The reason for donating undergarments is because it seems that everybody has donated used clothing to shelters before, but how many of you have donated your used underwear? I really hope everybody says no to that last question.

Undergarments are cheap and easy to carry on a motorcycle. For less than $15, you can buy two packages of some type of undergarment. You can then stuff them into your jacket or in you tank bag and ride to donate them. This ride has a few benefits.

1. We get to, as a group, give back to the community.

2. We get to help others that are not nearly as fortunate as we are.

3. We get to ride!


The Rules: Bring at least one package of new, unopened undergarments. This includes underwear (men’s, woman’s, or children’s), under shirts, long johns, socks, and anything else along that line. There will be absolutely NO Stunting or Stupid riding. If you can not keep yourself under control, don’t come. This ride is meant to help shed a better light on to bikers in general, not make us look bad.


This is a great opportunity for us to give back to the community. I hope many of you can make it out and make it a huge success in the process.

Anyone in the mid-TN area out there that likes to ride and ride often, ride far?!

I've been in Nashville about 4 years now and love the area......just upgraded from an 01 Fatboy to an 08 StreetGlide, and although I belong to a great chapter here locally, I can't seem to find many folks to ride with outside of our monthly chapter ride.

I ride often, long and far, and have ridden all over the mid-TN area, as well as points south and east........... would like to explore Big South Fork area and Tri-Cities areas next... or, North-west TN (not quite as exciting but haven't been up there yet).

I like to ride all day, make a few stops to rest and to eat lunch... occasionally i'll do a weekend and/or overnight trip and try to get up into Kentucky or preferably over in the western part of NC (dragon, parkway, etc.)

I certainly enjoy riding alone, it is therapy second to none as we all know! But occasionally do enjoy riding with a small group or others.

Just ordered some heated gear so looking to ride into the winter season as much as possible!!

What? – Rett Syndrome is a devastating neurological disease that primarily affects young girls and women. Girls with Rett Syndrome cannot talk, many cannot walk, and most cannot use their hands. They require total care from parents or care-givers.

Who? - ALL RIDERS/BIKERS are welcome!! All monies collected will benefit local girls and women with Rett Syndrome. The ride will benefit SRSA (Southeastern Rett Syndrome Alliance), The Rett Syndrome Center at UAB, and IRSF (International Rett Syndrome Foundation).

Where? - Registration begins at 9:00 AM at the Heart of Dixie Harley Davidson, Pelham, AL. Registration/donation is $25/bike. The ride starts at 10:00 AM and ends at approximately 12:30 PM, at Veteran’s Park in Alabaster. We will be grilling hotdogs at the end of the ride for everyone!!
