I bought the Joe Rocket Ballistic 7 touring jacket earlier this year after reading a good review on WWW.WEBBIKEWORLD.COM. Ended up returning it after a week as the shoulder armor was loose and the next size down was too tight.

After comparing the Tourmaster Epic and Transition, FirstGear Kilimanjaro, Olympia AST, Scorpion Commander and Fieldsheer jackets I ended up getting the Olympia AST. It had the best abrasion protection of the group - 1500D Cordura on the wear spots and 500D Cordura elsewhere - 1500D Cordura has a better abrasion rating than leather. Has the standard CE shoulder, elbow and back protectors to save your bones in a high speed tumble. Hot weather ventilation is suprisingly good - it has 6 vents in the sleeves, chest and back that keep you cool up to 90F, as long as you are moving. With the insulated liner, keeps me warm down to 28F with just a Tshirt. It's also totally waterproof with the vents closed. Best jacket I've owned. Highly recommend.

I hope this is the right place to post this. Does HD sell anything thats made in China ????? I just purchased a pair of the Brown Engineer Clint, leather Boot and was wondering if they mey be counterfit ? The tag says made in china and the boots dont even smell like leather, more like synthetic smell. The leather is thin but they look great and HD list them around $128.00 and I got these for $49.00 off ebay. I wore them today and they are not that comfortable walking in.

What are the most poplar boots you guys use that are real comfortable ?

Anyone else have these. I picked up a set of pants and shirt and tried them out today temp ranged from 45 to 60 degrees at high way speeds
personally I thought they worked pretty good I only had jeans and a t-shirt on over them and a leather jacket but overall I was comfortable all day long, was riding for about 5 hrs. and didn't get a chill or anything. I want to really test them out when the temps drop into the 30's and see how they work.
