Default 98 Roadking rear brake master cylinder??

Anyone know if I can replace the remote mount rear brake master cylinder assembly on my 98 RKC with the 2000 up style with the reservoir mounted on it? I like the chrome newer style and I have to order one anyway and the newer style is cheaper.

For anyone who is interested, yes the 2000 up style master cylinder is a direct bolt on upgrade and works fine. looks a lot better also and gets rid of the ugly black plastic mess that came on it.

I totally agree....I did this upgrade several years ago. Direct bolt on and much easier for maintenance.
