You won't be sorry with the Evo ... I have a '96 Electra Glide Custom with over 112000 mile on a stock engine ... only work that was done was replacing the cam when a bearing went bad, other than that regular service is all it has seen ...

Here's a few more pics (small). I need to figure out how to resize these.

Congratulations on getting the bike. Last summer I bought my first bike a 98 Fatboy. It has been totally dependable (Had 26k on it when I got it, has almost 33k now). For Christmas I did get the Andrews 27 cam installed, it already had the Porkler Pipes, and K&N Filter. I did the cam change mainly because of all the horror stories about the stock cam bearing (turned out my stock bearing was just fine during the cam change, replaced it with Torrington to be safe). Even before the cam change it had plenty of power, and I do a lot of two up riding. The cam does make a very noticable difference. I've only managed to put 60 miles on it since the cam change, but really like it so far.

Enjoy!
Tom

Congrats on yer new ride... Looks good, Lot of goodies added.. That's a plus..

Enjoy your machine.

If you do your own oil changes & etc. A '96 Softail HD Service Manual is a good thing. And a '96 Owners manual too..

I find em brand new on ebay..

Congrats on your new ride! Sweet bike! I have a twin cam and as you can see,an evo wideglide as well.LOVE my evo! You will too-I dont think you are gonna regret it. I use the twin cam for distances, otherwise prefer the evo. (They have more soul-just my opinion!)
