I put in the 2KW ultima starter, this is on a soft tail it was a bit tight but fits ok. Just make sure you change to larger leads and at least a 300amp battery. It works great, previous to that I changed to the 66/9 tooth gears on the clutch hub and pinion as the finer teeth of the 101 gearset just rips out if it kicks back on you, they are not strong enough.
