Have built many 117" and 124", not kits, but our in-house engineered combo's. They leave the building, and they change the oils, and keep tires on 'em.
TXCHOP, fellow forum member rides his 130/136 SAE, 117" anywhere he pleases, doesn't break down, but does gobble up tires!!!!!!!

The 107" does not require the spigot bores to be machined larger(not a problem to do whatsoever), but if looking forward to power delivery of what a larger engine can do, then a 117", or even a 124", will never leave you wondering if you did it wrong.
Are the stock 96ci bores sloppy also? I'm in between stayin stock or a set of flat top Wiseco 103's.

Not that we have witnessed, but if going to 103", then 107"(your cylinders bored) is right up your alley.

I don't want to go any more than 103, my heads might be coming off soon and I'll be so close to the pistons I don't think I can leave them alone.

The additional 4 CI are free; why not? Figure 1.1 TQ/HP per CI; just enough to register on the butt dyno!

I'm in FL. and it gets pretty toasty in the summer in beach traffic, I would rather have a little more meat on my cyl. walls. I have the Andrews 37's and the 30T pulley and I'm happy with how my bike runs now, but I want to have the heads done to complete my "mild" ride and I figured the 103@9.5:1 bump would work good for me.

No worries with that whatsoever, but do understand.

Really, i thought 5k would be plenty for going to 107ci. I will have to do some more checking, what ever the cost, it has to be done. So it is what it is.
Some of you guys sound like you own your own shops, i like this forum already. Heres a stupid question: Any body have a rough estimate on parts for going to 107 from a 96? I would expect labor to be nasty, but i plan on doing alot of the work myself and have a friend with a local shop who will help with the rest.

I now have all winter to getrdone, woke up with 3inches snow at the house this morning. ftw..

Figure on $2500ish to upgrade from 96-107 parts only. Little less if you skimp on the headwork.
You obviously need a dyno tune, also exhaust and fuel management if needed would be extra.
