Considering these options for exhaust on 2010 Road Glide Custom
Right now I'm considering three options to upgrade the exhaust on my new 2010 Road Glide Custom and would appreciate your input on the choices:
1) D&D 2-into-1 Boss Fat Cat - complete exhaust system with Zippers A/C. No tuner needed. (Goes to a 2.25" header and loses catalyst.) About $1000 in parts. If I decide to go with a 103 kit, the exhaust system will stay in place, but the cost of the Zippers A/C will be wasted as the 103 kit comes with a SE Stage I A/C.
2) Jackpot Powertube 2-into-1 slip-on, PC-V tuner pre-mapped, Fuelmoto A/C. (Retains 1.75" headers and catalyst, but PC-V could come in handy later) About $640 in parts. A decent approach, but if I decide to go with a 103 kit and full 2.25" exhaust system, the 1.75" slip-on will need to be sold and the cost of the Fuelmoto A/C will be wasted, as the 103 kit comes with a new SE A/C.
3) Screamin Eagle Nightstick (Supertrapp) 2-into-1 slip-on, SE A/C, flash downloaded MAP. (Retains 1.75" headers and catalyst.) About $500 in parts. Lowest initial cost set-up, but if I decide to go with a 103 kit and full 2.25" exhaust later (arguably a better overall set-up), the 1.75" slip-on will need to be sold and the cost for the flash download and the SE A/C will have been wasted.
I'm inclined to go with the D&D with Zippers A/C because that will take the entire exhaust system to 2.25" and I'll be rid of the cats, taking the exhaust system to where I think it should ideally be. And D&D insists no tuner will be needed. And they have three baffles for the exhaust, including a quieter one which I would definitely choose. If I decide to go with a 103 kit and tuner later, I can easily add them to this exhaust system.
What do you think?

Did you look at the Crushers from Kuryakin? They have an awesome sound and add a lot of power. Whatever you end up with please post it and let us know, I'm buying the exact same bike as you and want to black it out a bit. Not sure what to do about the exhaust yet.
Chuck... thanks for the reply. I had forgotten that this thread was even out there as no one had replied until you.
I have decided to go with D&D Fat Cats 2-into-1 complete exhaust system (to be rid of the cats in the head pipes). System just arrived yesterday. I'm awaiting arrival of the 103 Big Bore kit and SEST to complete the parts needed to bump my performance up a tad. Not looking for a huge power increase, just a nice noticible bump with some beefy low end torque. I ordered the D&D's with the quiet baffle which gives more low end torque than the standard baffle and while on the quieter side than standard is a bit louder than stock. I've had my years with loud pipes and now really appreciate something mellower sounding.
