Or get a set of crowfoot wrenches. Your tq wrench will fit for the rocker covers and rocker boxes with these. And you can also use extended Hex set to speed things up on a couple of the rocker cover bolts as they accept both hex and a standard wrench.
I would like to update this post and say I have about 600 miles on this build now. Everything is just great. I will be ordering a VPC clutch to ensure my clutch doesn't slip. I notice if I try and get on it, it will slip a bit. Since I did, and paid for the upgrades,i want to ensure my torque gets to the rear wheel. Once I get that, kickin' it down may be a whole new level of excitement.

...I have my twin cam 95" kit ordered from Dan Vance Racing - I should have the parts next week and will be doing a similar build (Dan swaps my OEM jugs and heads at pickup). I can turn a wrench and usually not intimidated but with any first time project I was 'concerned'. Your post gave me new confidence and I can't wait to dig in!
My parts will include CNC ported/hand blended, flowed, rasied port heads with 1.9" intakes, new guides, springs, etc. Heads planed .060 to raise compression to 10.0:1. MY 88" jugs are bored to 95" and and will use with flat top, KB 9:1 pistons. Adj prods and gear driven Andrews 54 cams finish the build. I currently have a Big Sucker, SE Double Barrel with VH quiet baffles and a Cobra Fi2000r tuner that I plan to reuse.
Can you please elaborate a little on the 'drilling out the top of the rocker' for increased oil flow? and is 45psi with the stock oil pump?
