Default RE: Replacing the enricher cable

Had the same thing happen last week. Took less then an hour, pretty straight forward repair. Didn't need to remove the throttle cables, would have made it easier to attach the enricherwith more wiggle room but it was doable. Do watch the plastic threads seem like they strip just looking at them. The amazing part of the whole job was the cable only cost $12. Cheapest repair I think I ever made.

Default RE: Replacing the enricher cable

I replaced mine in about 15 minutes. I don't have cruise control though. I didn't remove the carb but I did pull it off the intake just to get access to the cable. I used a wrench to loosen it initally and removed it with my fingers. I can't remember every little detail of the process except that it was easy. I have a 2001 FLHR.
