Exclamation Stage 1 Air Cleaner Kit

I have a 2009 Ultra, I just purchased and installed screaming eagle slipons. I also purchased the Stage 1 Air Cleaner Kit and when I went to install it the instructions said to remove the MAXI-Fuse. I have the factory service manula and I can't find a MAzi Fuse in the entire book. It also says to remove the fuel tank and I can't figure why I woyld have to remove it to install the kit. Also does anyone know if I would need to have the ECM reprogramed after installing the slipons and air cleaner. I also have a 2007 Ultra and the instructions with that Stage 1 Air kit didn't say a word about having to remove the fuse or tank and it was an easy install. Please reply of you have any inof on the 09.
Thanks,

Thanks,
Just had the dealer install stage 1 air cleaner on my 2010 and did not see them remove gas tank. I also don't see a reason to mess with the fuse. It's just an air filter and bracket. Nothing to do with electric.

Yes, you will need to get the stage 1 download after the install.

Default Stage 1 Air Cleaner Kit

Thanks for the reply....Did you also change the exhaust system?.....Also, did you have the race tuner installed. I asking because my local Harley dealer said I had at a cost $750.00 + tax if I install the Stage 1 Air kit and leave the slipons I installed on. With just the slipons I don't need to do anything else.
