another TSM Problem

Hello All,

I have a 2002 HD Springer. Just recently, when I turn the ignition switch to ON, the turn signals flashed 6 times. I went thru the procedure to extract the engine code by invoking the TSM Diagnostics. The code came back as a 31-Alarm Output Low. Only problem is that my bike doesn't have an alarm system. I haven't had any work done recently on the bike, nor any problems. Aside from this, it runs fine. I tried to clear the code, but it keeps coming back. Any ideas?

I've got the same problem with my 01 carbed FLSTF. I am thinking it might be the tssm($165) after checking all my witing.

me too. 01 FLSTF. Checked the codes all clear. Driving me crazy

The head mechanic at the local Harley store said the same thing. I was hoping that someone else had better news. Not that I'm planning on selling the bike anytime soon, but I guess it will need to be fixed if I ever do.

Hey, you can always take the bulbs out to stop the annoying flash. I wonder if the tssm fails completely.... will the bike still start.
