Default Waterproofing Electrical Wiring

I’ve ordered a connector with a built in converter to hardwire my GPS……Any suggestions on weather proofing the converter module?

This is the connector…..

Says it’s made for ATV’s too, but doesn’t look very waterproof. I thought about coating it in silicone maybe?

dielectric grease for the actual connection. Beyond that I am not sure what more you can do other than cover the whole thing in shrink tubing and silicone - not even sure if it is necessary.

Yeah, I might not want to silicone it if it’s got a fuse in there too. I’ll just lube it up with the dielectric grease. Thanks!
