Default RE: TSM/TSSM programing

I do agree with all your ranting! I am replacing the stock one with a screamin eagle 6200. That is the reason for the exchange. I did read somewhere in one of my hot bike mags but cant find it now that on the 2004 and 05 you can do this using the type of proceedure that you discribed. But it is sad when I asked them at my local HD and three service techs had no qule on what to do. And they wonder why I dont take it in for service. Ride was good today. rode about 100 miles for a good cause. I will work on it again this weekend and let you know how it goes.

Your rant is fine with me. I have an 01 Flhtcui, and the bike has developed the annoying problem of low rpm stalling. The tack is also going crazy, and the cruise control just quit. I think that it's the oxygen sensor that's the problem, but I have to bring it to HD for a looksee. The mechanics at my dealer know less about my bike than I do, but they have the computers to check which sensor is acting up. I brought it in for the same problems a few months ago, and whatever they did worked for a while, but the problem is back.

And my high RPM (>2000) cold idle is back, or never was repaired! ---- Damn it!

Thanks for posting that link. It looks like there's a lot of good info there that will help me in my quest for HD knowledge.

Awesome link!

Now... Does this need to be done when I install the Power Commander?
