Default Auxiliary lights

I have a 2008 FatBoy. I am thinking of putting the HD Deluxe Auxiliary lights on . Dealer will sell lights and bulbs with 10% off. Dealer wants $187.00 to install. Is this a job a weekend mechanic can handle? Any specifics areas to be aware of if I decide to do myself? Any help will be appreciated, thank you.

If you are referring to the passing lamps/turn signal bracket/lights similar to what's on the Electra Glides, you will need 9/16" slotted socket to tighten the nuts that secure the passing lamps to the bracket. The slot is necessary because the power/positive wire passes through a threaded stud that a nut fits over to tighten the passing lamp to the bracket. You can make what you need by grinding a slot about 3/8" or so wide along the length of the deep socket. Or you can buy one of these:
