Great thread!
Love the look of the FXDXT tall fairings, I just have my concerns with looks when it comes to having ape hangers instead of T-bars. I am running 16" Roland Sands apes and I don't want it to look all goofy. But I also figure a fairing HAS to look better than my clamp on HD windshield.

yes sir it is, cut out and glassed in the old turn sig location, glassing an inner fairing, everything is giong to be plug and play and the whole thing will weigh under 15lbs with full stereo inside. no more heavy weight on the forks to mess with my pre load

Some work better than others. The fxdxt work better than the HD 1/4 and the HD 1/4 works better than the ness. Depends how much wind you want to keep off you. Can you still feel wind???? Yes. Is it blasting you in the chest at 80 rolling down the freeway ??? No

Exactly. The fxdxt fairing is obviously not going to block as much wind as a batwing but it does a great job of knockingit off your middle section. I had an HD 1/4 and it didnt do much at all IMO...but the fxdxg fairing is another story, I think it works great.
