Does anybody make a Wide Glide type fender for the Fat Bob that does not require the work of a Wide glide and can use the chrome side mounts???

 

Not sure what you mean "the work of a Wide Glide" but if you want to rock the WG rear fender, you could certainly have the black strut covers chromed. You cannot use the stock Fatbob strut covers as they are longer and only work with the Fatbob rear fender setup.

 

That was my reaction, too. Maybe he's talking about the older FXDWG fenders?

 

The U-station (German company) rear fender uses the same Fat Bob side mounts. Here are some photos. I'm going to a LePera Bare Bones in a month for a solo look and and can post pics when that arrives. Good luck!
