Default Foxcreek Dyna Low Rider saddlebags. Anyone using them without supports?

I called Foxcreek and the person said the throwover bags could be used no problem without supports. Anyone have experience with those bags?

I have them on my Superglide but I put on the supports. I just don't like the possibility however so remote of a bag getting in the way. Plus, it keeps the support leather off the sides of the fender so there is not buffing.

Default leatherworks saddlebags

for a few bucks more you could by the bags I have. from leatherworksinc.com
nz127. throw overs, the recommended using supports but i havent used them.please see pics. I payed 419.00$ high quality 10oz thick leather. I order mine with out the handles on the top. they also come with extra long straps so you can put gear on top of the bag, and have clips on top as well for bungee cords. hope this helps you out.

I do use mine without supports. Got the large ones for the superglide and work great. It's very important to point out I bought a protective padding from them so my fender wouldn't get scratched. About $25 worth.
One problem. The stitching has been eaten off by bumping to either my springs or another frontal part. Bike shows zero wear, ZERO. Was thinking of redoing the stitching and putting a protective rubber were bumping is damaging my backs. Tryed leatheret but it bumped through it.

Thanks all! I am probably going with Foxcreek cause they are a nice slim bag and won't stick out too far. One thing though, I have the stock 2 up seat whjch means I have those rubber blocks glued to fender from factory. Anyone have an issue with fitting the throwover yoke over those rubber blocks?

The rubber blocks should be fine. What I've done in the past was attached the rubber blocks to the seat with crazy glue and stuck velcro strips on the blocks (fuzzy side) to protect the fender and leave a cleaner look when ridding with the solo seat. I had foxcreek bags and they're high quality and like you said nice and slim--used zipties to keep em from flopping around. Eventually the swingarm beat the crap out of the bottom stiching. If I had to do it over I'd loose the yolk and hard mount them to the fender struts. You can use 3/8 all thread, washers, acorn nuts and spacers. There's a write up on here some where of this method to make them semi quick release. I finaly gave up on saddlebags for the Dyna and went with a solo bag.
