This is my solution - most don't even notice them until them come on.

Comfort wise I really like it. I changed the windshield to the spoiler windshield that memphis shades offers. It really directed the wind over the top of my head. It even helped my wife in the back. She said it helped so the wind does'nt hit her in the face. We both noticed that wind noise cut down considerably. I now noticed now how much air comes from the bottom and sides of the wing with the new windshield installed!

We took a ride out to Dennis Kirk and picked up and installed the wind deflectors that attach to the sides. That helped cut down on alot of the air coming from under/sides of the fairing. My wife really likes the deflectors on. I think they're kinda ugly and may come off when she don't ride with me. They come off easily using thumbscrew nuts.

I'm getting kinda sold on this fairing thing. You can put alot of highway miles on much more comfortably.

Also changed to the lighted mirrors !

Strobe...........I have had the Memphis Dyna fairing on my Wideglide for over a year now and really like it. But I also chased the buffeting and found that most of it was comming throu;gh between the headlight and the fairing. I plugged the gap and it helped considerably.........give that a try.

Those of you that have done this, can you post detail photos of the mounting system?

Thanks much for the info. I'll be playing around some more. Even as it is right now I'm enjoying the ride !
