Default Rear fender ...

Almost ready to mount ... just need to wire the tail lamp and turn signals .... The trim on the tombstone is chrome ... I think it'll look pretty good ....

I think I might 'upgrade' the red lense to one with a 'blue dot' ....

A little of my 'secret' for adapting the rear fender ...

Here's a shot of the front fender installed and the fuse panel cover with the old tank that's about to be replaced as well ... gives an idea of the contrast between the new and old look ....

looks good!

Now you just need to steam clean your rear wheel, sprocket, etc.

Couple of new photos this afternoon ....

Got like 90% of the rear fender done ... I am still held up by a couple of missing pieces, though ....

Powder Pro has the gasket for the tombstone tail lamp ... he's overnighting it to me, so I should have it Tue. I also am missing one AMP wire connector for the tail lamp ... [it is so tedious crimping those damn pins and sockets ... spent quite a bit of time this afternoon doing just that ....]

Hampton Roads H-D has the connector I need on order ... so, I am at a bit of a standstill just now anyway until it comes in .... I was running around this afternoon trying to see if I could find one somewhere else ... but, no joy ....

I was hoping to be able to get a replacement gasket and a 6-pin Amp connector and finish up this evening ... that would only have left the tank ....

Well ... guess this is going to take a few more days to wrap this project up ....
