Hi, like the looks of those apes from BR. I think the 1.5" vice the 1" from road 6 look more like it fits with the fat-ness of the bike. You said that the way were the same specs of the HD mini apes...but still curious as to the rise are they 10", 12"? And what are the costs of these bad boys....the road 6 are $149.00

Here is my contribution to your fat bob ape hanger thread.
I, personally, thought these look excellent on the fat bob:
I think what makes these bars work nicely with the fat bob is the 1.5 " thickness and the straight angles. It flows with the fat forks and angles of the bike if you know what I mean. Also, you want to make sure the bars flow with the forks from a verticle standpoint (same width) since the forks and bars are exposed.
