I have a Lepera Silohette and a stock Dyna 2 up if you are interested.
also a Sundowner that would fit.
Just ordered a Bar Enterprizes seat for mine, with extra padding.
You'll know why eventually! haha

Give a good deal on any of the seats.

I've got a sundowner,it's comfy as hll but the thick passenger foam rises 4 inches above the fender. Ugly butt good for the wife. It's just looks anyway what really counts is your personal comfort, who cares how it looks. On bike night put your solo on! jmo

Well, we have not taken the bike out for a ride yet as I just put it on last night. Just sitting on the seat appears thats its going to be comfy as hell. So yeah, you guys are right that WIDE is good. And it is the 2 piece setup so the back seat does come right off and that really is a whole new look. I guess we'll give it a go for a while and see.

And Schwangster, we ordered a Bar Enterprises seat. We ordered and PAID for the hitchhiker. Waited weeks and it never arrived. After repeated calls with no return calls we spoke so some old man. He claimed they could not find my order nor my seat. Thats why I bought this one on ebay. I REALLY wanted the hitchhiker as I think its a great looking seat. I wish you better luck than I had. At least let us know your thoughts on it.

Heres another view:

I agree that a big comfy seat is going to look like "a big comfy seat"! But, you have to keep "momma" happy.. right! For comfort and looks, I love my stock seat! So I bought the pillion to match. It comes on and off real easy (slight modification for the connection to the front seat) and the wife likes it!

She does NOT like the Sundowner as the one I have only has about 1" of padding throughout the seat?! I like it though!

Hey, do what makes you happy! Good Luck!

I'll be honest and say I think it looks pretty bad on there with the wide Mustang seat. I love how comfortable Mustang seats are but I have the narrower version of that seat and I even think that one is sort of ugly too. On long rides i wouldn't have any other seat though.

Try bringing it to an upholsterer...they may have some ideas on cutting it down a little and keeping the width...

With the saddle bags and all the studs on your bike, I think it matches the bike quite well. I'd at least give a test ride before you decide to sell it.

I don't think it looks that bad.

I went with a Corbin Dual Tour for my Fat Bob and I liked the looks a bit at first but I really like the looks now. With the bags it seems fitting. And it's very very comfortable for both the rider and the passenger. This is my only vehicle, I use it year round and I spend time in that seat.

A month or so after buying the seat I bought the backrest, which makes a world of difference for the passenger.
