Just did my install of the Burly kit yesterday on my 2007 Bob. It's very easy, but you do have to have the right tools, otherwise you'll probably make things worse.
Front is indeed a drop-in kit, very easy to install. Just take your bars off, unscrew the top cap (be aware there quite a lot of pressure from the springs inside), take the original parts out, put the Burly parts in and screw the top back on.
There is a video on Youtube about the Progressive drop-in kit, they show you how to do it.
I also changed out my kickstand to a shorter one.
I do have a question for you jss1975snow, did you put the burly spacers in with the front suspension (the plastic one)?
Yes 1" cut on both
