The kit was easy to install as long as you have the right tools, a motorcycle lift is a must. The ride is different, but better than I orignally thought. I adjusted the preload rear four notches over since I weigh 230Lbs. Rode 50 miles already and have not bottomed out yet. I didn't adjust any rear wiring. 2 up I'm not sure about, but you could probably do with 5 notches turned on the rear shocks. Turning into a corner is different, I was so used to the front compressing more in a turn with stock but its stiffer. I used the supplied spacers but cut them into 1 inch lengths specified by the install manual, the spacers come in 4 inch lengths so you can cut your own length. Overall I am very happy with the install as I do like the look alot.

Looking into getting the kit...just curious though...

How is the ride, if anyone knows, by just getting the rear lowered and not the front? Is it a must to lower the rear and front too?
THANKS

how much do you want for that?

I have been thinking about buying a nightster, but I am being swayed to buy a bigger bike...problem is I cant find anything else that I like the look of except for the Street Glide.

You have just swayed my decision. I saw an all black dyna yesterday and had to double take. I got on here and started trying to figure out what it was and realized its a street bob. Its a nice looking bike, but what you have is a masterpiece. The VH pipes and SE breather really make this a beautiful bike.

My first question was not rhetorical...I would seriously buy this from you.

The Burly Slammer kit comes with 10.5" rear shocks and front springs, which are drop in, meaning take the fork bolt off the top remove the stock spring and spacer and drop in the new. Burly has a demonstration video how to install. The ride springy, since it is lowered. They say if you lower the rear you should lower the front.

How much would you pay? I'm thinking of buying a Street glide some day.
