***dyna models metric sizes database***

Occasionally forum members have questions on what size of metric tools they have to use on the metric bolts and nuts mounted on their dyna model. Info on this subject is scattered in the forum now. Purpose of this thread is to gather this info and put it in an easy accessable database. Any suggestions and additional info from your side is appreciated. Rene', why limit it to metric sizess? Unless there is already a database for the U.S. sized parts.

I can add two but I don't know and don't know where to find the part numbers. On the Showa front forks of my 07 FXDC, the seat pipe screw is 12mm hex. That tool doesn't seem to be found commonly in hex kits you buy retail. Some of us have purchased it separately at Sears for 8 bucks. Also, the fork tube caps are 35mm wrench or socket, preferably socket for removal.

Most (US&UK) members do have a nice set of "Across Flats" (AF) wrenches and sockets in the tool-box and not so many "metric". Over here on the European continent it's the opposite. I started the database in order to determine what kind of "metric" wrenches are needed so you guys in the USA and UK are able to order/buy the single ones you need, instead of having to buy a complete metric set.

Not shure what you mean by the "seat pipe screw" ; could you be a bit more specific please?

Rene' the p/n is for the screw itself. The p/n I listed is for a tool to extract it easily.
