Couldn't you also buy right side lower from a new Lowrider and then get master cylinder and rotor

Yeah but then you need to pc it black. Harley makes a black right side lower for dual disk 49mm, I just posted the PN a couple pages back

Thanks Adam for the reply, really appreciated. I think you are right the switchblades are for single disc application. I was considering them when I wanted a single disc set up with the speed merchant adapter for a Tokico caliper. I’m still considering this set up but the dual disc are really tempting, I’d have to look into prices and see the differences.

Can you get better Calipers and better Pads with Harley parts (for dual disc) ?

You can. The touring bikes came with Brembo developed calipers. They are, for some bikes, a bolt on mod. From there you can get a bigger rotor, off the same year touring bikes to complete the set-up.

Yup... I have the switchblade mags with the Arlen Ness 15" rotor kit. Solid single-finger braking.
