New Arlen Ness fairing. Just installed it on Sunday.
There might be a lot of them out there SOMEwhere, but in my little neck of the woods (the foothills of North Carolina) I ain't never seen one.
Neither has anybody else. I rode it down to Grumpy's Tavern Sunday afternoon, and the guys all flocked to it. (not that it mattered... I love the look myself...)
For comparison, my old V-Rod fairing is still in my sig pic. But I don't get the "thug" thing. I think this fairing Europeanizes it. (if that's a word)

I'm in the process of modding my 2007 FXDC into a club style bike. Sorry if the term I use is incorrect for this site, as there are so many names people give this type setup, Thug Style, Club Style, Outlaw style, Hooligan, etc. I am hoping maybe this site has some members that have a bike that I can draw inspiration from, by posting pictures.
I am not referring to the style that is somewhat poorly done on that SOA show on TV.
Anyway, I can mostly find pictures on Japan sites, but it seems the bulk of great modified bikes of this style are 2005 and older Dyna's.
Anyone have a 2006+ bike done up. Something like this:

I really hate this opinion. Really, really hate this. TV Show < Reality, but some people can't grasp it.

Amen, the idea on the show came from somewhere, and when I see some legit guys riding the style, you know it didn't come from some 2-bit TV series.

Actually, your bike looks awfully familiar, what area are you from?
