New Arlen Ness fairing. Just installed it on Sunday.

There might be a lot of them out there SOMEwhere, but in my little neck of the woods (the foothills of North Carolina) I ain't never seen one.

Neither has anybody else. I rode it down to Grumpy's Tavern Sunday afternoon, and the guys all flocked to it. (not that it mattered... I love the look myself...)

For comparison, my old V-Rod fairing is still in my sig pic. But I don't get the "thug" thing. I think this fairing Europeanizes it. (if that's a word)

Sorry if the term I use is incorrect for this site, as there are so many names people give this type setup, Thug Style, Club Style, Outlaw style, Hooligan, etc. I am hoping maybe this site has some members that have a bike that I can draw inspiration from, by posting pictures.

I am not referring to the style that is somewhat poorly done on that SOA show on TV.

Anyway, I can mostly find pictures on Japan sites, but it seems the bulk of great modified bikes of this style are 2005 and older Dyna's.

Anyone have a 2006+ bike done up. Something like this:
That pic / bike is not anywhere near what I think you are looking for... and is am embarassment to the Harley name... I know some of the older Wide Glides were dressed like that, but that color scheme is definitely someone's home-made idea...

I really hate this opinion. Really, really hate this. TV Show < Reality, but some people can't grasp it.

Amen, the idea on the show came from somewhere, and when I see some legit guys riding the style, you know it didn't come from some 2-bit TV series.

Nice! Your garage looks just like my old one in Gales Ferry. Nice riding around there.

You're right about that. The style is basically non existent here in ct. I've seen one dx come in the shop with the same fairing as yours but that's it. There's a couple with T bars, death squad stickers and soa shirts but I've yet to see bikes completely done in this style.

Actually, your bike looks awfully familiar, what area are you from?
