Default Street Bob rear fender on Fat Bob

I saw this photo of a Fat Bob with a Street Bob style fender. It looks awesome, but it appears to come from a German retailer, thus mega $$$! Anyone got a lead on where I could get a kit in N America (particularly Canada)? A blogger said you can actually use the stock Street Bob fender, but that sounds too easy to be true.

Street Bob fender is narrower and would require spacers to make it work.

The new 2010 WG fender will work on the Fatbob though.

This thread shows all you need

Thanks for this! One problem, and perhaps I need to go to the original poster, but my Harley service guys say that the Fat Bob tire is too wide for the WG fender. Can you comment or should I go to the others?

The 2010 WG comes stock with a 180 same as the FB and the uses the same wider struts as the FB.

I am not sure where it is but this exact same fender for the exact same bike based on the exact same photo has already been discussed. I also think a forum member bought this fender and installed it as well but it has been a while. It would behoove you to do a very thorough search and you will get the best and quickest info on it.

That fender mentioned above from U-Station Motors is sweet! I did a major search last night for any info on it and came up empty. Their web site is http://www.u-station.de/ but unless someone here speaks German (I believe it's German) it did me no good. If anyone here can dig up any info plz do, that would be great.......Rich

Bolt on, no frame cut, fender. Only mod to be done to fit is trimming of the fender strut covers and relocation of the indicators. The website mentions that all original wiring as well as the original seat will fit. Original fender attachement hardware also reused. Price EUR 498.00 or approx. USD 750.00 so not a cheap mod. Believe the DWG '10 rear fender will be a cheaper option.

I think the FXDC has the same strut width as the fatbob. The streetbob doe snot have spacers between the strut and fender, but the FXDC does. I have a 8.5" fender and 1/4" spacers between the strut and rear fender, so i should be able to fit a 9" one.
